Welcome to Glen Acres Condominiums, a private gated, golf course community that was created in 1966 and has grown into seven separate Divisions under an umbrella Homeowner Association. Our planned community has 20 acres of professionally maintained grounds, gated entrance, and night watchman, all placed alongside our privately owned 9-hole golf course.  Glen Acres overlooks the city of Seattle with many of our condominiums providing views of the city and mountains on a clear day. We are a condominium community with 225 units, which encompasses 28 buildings with several different floor plans. 90% of the units are occupied by at least one resident 55 years of age or older at last count. Our nine-hole golf course, tennis courts, swimming pool, and clubhouse make us an active adult community.  At this writing 215 units are owner occupied. That makes most of us owners as well as residents.  All our homeowners are social members of Glen Acres Golf & Country Club allowing everyone access to the Country Club, swimming pool, tennis courts, and a free round of golf each month.  A Golfing membership encompasses all social membership privileges, as well as golfing on the beautifully manicured golf course.

The owners elect the Homeowners Association Board of Trustees, and the Division Management Committees to manage our common property.  Glen Acres’ elected representatives set policies that maintain and protect our property values. The monthly fee assessed to each owner, pays for running our community.  A portion of this fee is allocated to reserve accounts for major expenditures that occur with time, such as painting, roof repairs, structural repairs, road repairs, etc. The amount set aside in reserve accounts is determined by the individual Divisions to meet their specific requirements.  Newcomers to Glen Acres are not likely to be saddled with lump-sum assessments for major repairs.

Community rules have been developed and adopted by the homeowners over time for the mutual benefit of all residents. The rules document certain common courtesies necessary in a relatively close-knit community to maintain an enjoyable living environment for everyone.  Glen Acres is a wonderful community with home prices ranging from $200K, up to $500K.  Glen Acres is located 10 minutes south of downtown Seattle, just a minute from highway 509.
